New Jersey’s Complex Business Litigation (CBL) Program was developed to better serve the needs of New Jersey businesses by resolving complex business, commercial, and construction cases in an expedited manner.  Cases in the CBL Program usually arise from business or commercial transactions or construction projects that have complex factual or legal issues, a large number of parties, substantial discovery issues, multiple experts, implications for business far beyond the decision in the particular case, and a probable significant interpretation of a business or commercial statute.

In this seminar, you will learn what specific types of cases are best suited for the CBL Program, how a case is deemed eligible for the program, and what to expect once the case is so designated.  You will learn how to manage your CBL cases efficiently using the program rules and guidelines, and will receive practical tips from the judges who manage CBL cases in the vicinage.
